| Description | This is a full-time position for a qualified service technician who posseses a current TCEQ Class AB On-Site UST Supervisor Certification. Duties will include inspections, testing, and repairs of UST and AST fuel systems and equipment. The technician will ensure that state and local regulatory directives regarding storage and monitoring systems are met and that all work is properly documented. The technician will work closely with client personnel as a company representative, perform maintenance, and trouble shoot without direct supervision. |
| Qualifications | 5-10 years of experience with UST andor AST systems is required. Current TCEQ Class AB On-Site UST Supervisor Certification is required. Knowledge of Pneumercator and Andover systems is a plus. ICC UST InstallerRetrofitter and Tank Tester License a plus. Applicant must possess current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification. Must have good electrical and mechanical aptitude, as well as the ability to work and troubleshoot problems independently. Should be able to understand and conform to complex regulatory requirements. Applicant must have excellent communication skills, basic knowledge of computer systems, and an eye for detail. A valid Texas Drivers License, good driving record, and reliable transportation is required. Successful applicants must pass a background check, as well as a physical examination and a drug screening test. |
| Responsibilities | The technician will function in a position of high visibility both internal and external to the company. The successful applicant will perform required tank system inspections, testing, service, and repairs. Position may require technician to drive company work truck, up to 100 miles per day, to client job sites. May include additional duties as assigned. |
